Your privacy is important to us and we want you to be as comfortable as possible visiting the website (“Website”), using the 121studio mobile app (“App”) and using our services. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains (i) how we use your personal information, (ii) the type of personal information that we receive and collect when you use any of the features offered from time to time on our website or our App, (iii) how we protect your personal information, and (iv) use of CCTV. This Privacy Policy applies to the Website, to the App and to the services offered by us, including our online on-demand service.

We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing personal information with us. Please read this Privacy Policy before using the Website or the App, or before submitting any personal information. By using the Website or the App, you are accepting the practices described in, and the terms of, this Privacy Policy. These practices may change, but any changes will be posted and changes will only apply to activities and information on a “going forward” basis. You are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy whenever you visit the Website or use the App to make sure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used.


We collect and process personally identifiable information about users of our Website, our App, and our members such as names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, gender, health conditions, credit and debit card information, performance metrics during classes (such as power, speed, heart rate, distance, calories burned), etc., when voluntarily submitted by users of our Website or our App. Users may, however, visit our Website or use our App anonymously and can always refrain from supplying personal information, although this may prevent them from engaging in certain activities on the Website or the App including registering as members. Additionally, in order for us to verify your identity, we may request from your valid proof of identification (such as passport, national ID card, employment card and/or driver’s license).

This personally identifiable information is used to (i) allow us to provide services to our members including purchasing packages, booking classes and capturing performance statistics during classes, (ii) personalize the user experience for our members, (iii) improve our customer experience, the Website, and the App, (iv) adhere to our membership Terms and Conditions, (v) process payments for our services when you make a purchase on our Website or our App, and (vi) run promotions or other marketing activities.

If you make a payment for our products or services on the Website or App, the credit and debit card details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our third party payment provider via a secured connection. Credit and debit card details will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. 

We do not sell, share, rent or lease any of your personally identifiable information to third parties in the normal course of doing business, and we will not use this information for third party marketing purposes. We may share generic aggregated information not linked to any personally identifiable information, in an anonymized form, regarding visitors and users on the Website or App with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers.

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information about users when accessing our website or using our App including browser type, mobile type, IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and other technical information about a user’s means of connecting to our website or using our App. This information is used to manage the Website and the App, track usage and improve our services. This non-personally identifiable information may be shared with third parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to our users. User IP addresses may be recorded for security and monitoring purposes. We may also record information about your usage, such as the time and frequency of your usage of the Website or the App. If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your account. Our website or App may use cookies and tracking technology to enhance a user’s experience. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information.

Some of the advertisements you see on the Website or the App are selected and delivered by third parties, such as advertising networks, advertising agencies, advertisers, and audience segment providers. These third parties may collect information about you and your online activities, either on the Website and/or App, or on other websites, through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies in an effort to understand your interests and deliver to you advertisements that are tailored to your interests. Please remember that we do not have access to, or control over, the information these third parties may collect. The information practices of these third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy. 

We may collect feedback on our services, Website and App as well as information about you through surveys, feedback ratings and other comments. Such information will only be used to assess and improve our customer experience, the Website and the App.

We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement agencies, government agencies or other third parties (i) where we are required by law, a court order or similar legal procedure, or by any governmental or regulatory body, (ii) where we are cooperating with a law enforcement investigation, (iii) to report suspected fraud or other illegal activity, or (iv) to investigate a possible violation of our Terms and Conditions.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18, or knowingly allow such persons to register or become members. If you are under 18 years of age, do not attempt to register on our website or App, or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under the age of 18 may provide any personal information to, or on, our website or App.

Your personal information will only be collected if it is necessary and appropriate to do so. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our website or our App. Sensitive and private information exchanged between our website, our App, and users takes place over secured communication channels. We use industry-standard means to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, however, absolute security does not yet exist on the internet. We will not hold your information for longer than we need to and when we dispose of it, we will destroy paper and electronic copies in a secure way.


Once you register as a member, purchase a package, book a class, or cancel a class we will send you a confirmation to your registered email address. We may also use your email address to send updates, newsletters or other news regarding 121Studio. You may elect to unsubscribe from these types of emails by following opt-out instructions contained in such emails or by changing your notification settings in your account on the Website or the App. You may contact us by email or telephone. Our email correspondence may be kept as a record of your contact with us, and to enable us to respond to any queries that you may have. We do not record telephone conversations or calls that you make to us.


CCTV is installed at our studios, to monitor building security and assist in crime prevention and detection. We operate our CCTV in accordance with the guidance issued by the United Arab Emirates authorities. We collect this data as part of our role as a service provider to you, and to ensure the health and safety of our staff, members and visitors. We will not hold images for longer than necessary and will dispose of them securely.


We may take photographs or movie shots of the premises, classes, events and other activities relating to 121Studio. You may be included in some of these photographs, either individually or as a group. We reserve the right to use such photographs or movie shots for press or promotional purposes unless you instruct us otherwise.

Some of our classes are recorded for purposes of streaming content on our online on-demand platform. During these recordings, we refrain from capturing any customer images or voices during these recordings.


You can access and review your personal information through your account on the Website or the App. If your personal information changes in any way, or is incorrectly presented on the Website or the App, you should immediately update or correct your personal information through the Website or the App, or by contacting our customer support team.


The Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, you are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted on the Website or the App.
